Learn about the risks and challenges of driving with dementia in our informative event - Dementia and Driving!

If you have driven for years, driving provides a sense of independence and becomes second nature. What happens to your independence when you're diagnosed with dementia? As the disease progresses, how and when does driving become dangerous? What are the supports, resources, and alternatives to driving available?

There are so many questions. On September 18, 2024, from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm, come join us for an informative and engaging session on dementia and driving at the Greater Forest Lawn 55+ Society. People with lived dementia experience are encouraged to attend and share their input on how to navigate the system following a dementia diagnosis. This event will host a panel of guest speakers followed by facilitated table conversations.
